BSF has grown to become one of the world's largest suppliers of industrial film products. BSF was the first manufacturer to commercialize high performance metallized solar energy control window films made with sputtered exotic metals such as stainless steel, titanium, copper, and silver.

In recognition of our achievement in developing innovative technologies, BSF was awarded the prestigious Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) Technology of the Year Award two years consecutively, first in 1994 for our transparent reflective coatings for holographic security applications, and again in 1995 for our patented multi-layer thin metal Quantum® solar control window film technology.
